So... I was flipping through Netflix streaming the other night and started a movie called 13 Assassins. It was a samurai film about 13 samurai on a quest to assassinate a brutal shogun. Excellent film! Awesome fight scenese and was a very intense movie.
Then the other night after liking that foreign flick so much, I saw a Chinese kung-fu movie with 4.5 star rating on there and decided to watch it too! Another excellent choice called Ip Man. It apparently was a true story about Bruce Lee's kung-fu master!
Anyhow, both were well worth watching and thought I'd share!

If you haven't watched Red Cliff you REALLY need to give it a try. You have to read subtitles but it is worth it because of how great the movie is. It's basically set in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms of China. I highly recommend it.

Oh and my and wife and I also found one of our favorite Mystery Science Theatre 3000 episodes on Netflix last night!
Soultaker:
Absolutely hilarious !!! It features one a man that must have the biggest face I've ever seen! What's also funny is that Martin Sheens brother, Joe Estevez is in it and they keep making wizecracks on him.

I got an independent film called God Bless America today from Netflix which is a hilarious dark comedy. The story of a man with nothing to loose and is tired of rude people.

I am actually quite a fan of foreign movies especially those with stories related to the Three Kingdoms of China.
In addition to the above mentionned, if you haven't seen IP man and IP man 2. I strongly recommend you watch them.
