Hi everyone! My name is Kaleah and I'm 31. I live in FL and am engaged to my boyfriend of many years...tentatively planning to get married sometime next year. I work for a beverage carbonation company as a contract administrator (very exciting, let me tell you! ). I have been playing video games since the NES days. Later in life I discovered the Final Fantasy series and was instantly hooked. My first MMO was FFXI. I love that game sooo much. I spent probably 5 years playing it and had 6 level 75 characters. The game starting taking over, so I had to put it down. lol Other MMOs I've played are WOW, Rift and most recently Tera. Not sure why, but I never checked out GW...but I'm def looking forward to GW2 as you all are too. I'm a bit shy but and looking forward to getting to know all of you. Some of my other hobbies are reading (big fantasy and horror fan), watching horror movies, going to the beach, working out, drawing, and lately grilling (love me some grilled chicken!). I absolutely love The Game of Thrones series...read all the books fervently. Now if only they would make a tv/movie series out of The Wheel of Time books... Oh, and if only I knew all of you science teachers when I was taking Chem I in college a few months back. Argh, that's a tough subject!! XD

I'm Toe. I live in Pensacola FL. I'm 29, been gaming since a kid. Not married, no kids. Can't wait to reunite with with the original guild as well as meet you new members. The members are what makes this guild great. The laid back, fun loving attitude is perfect. No reqs, no BS. I can't wait for launch. This reminds me of when Smoke and Fire first got going all those years ago.

Well I guess I had better give everyone a bit more info about me. I'm 66 yrs old and as long as I don't look into a mirror I think I'm 25, ROFL.. sorta. I have a great luv of online gameing. I luv the fact of interacting with people all over the world. The first online game I played was a WWII flying game called Air Warriors. In that game you could fill a B17 bomber with 8 different people all in different parts of the world. It was all on dial up too, a free game from AOL. Spent hours flying and type talking to friends. My first MMO was also a free game from AOL, called Legends of Kesmai. It was a hex game with stick charactors, and was a blast. Then EQ launched and forever changed how we played and interacted, was awesome. More to follow if you want more, being sooooo old I have lots of stories, he he he....

jade - Awesome, I will definitely keep you in mind for any future sciences. I loved Bio I & II, but when it comes to stuff like chemistry and math, it gets pretty frustrating for me! I totally agree regarding The Game of Thrones...but that's what I love about the series, everyone is fair game. Arya's still going strong...she is such a bad ass, love her. OMG, you've read The Wheel of Time too?! Sweet! I'm sure you know the final book is coming out soon. I'm super excited but sad at the same time...I hate to see it end. I have re-read most of the books as well...I have them mainly on paperback tucked away somewhere, but yeah, e-books are the way to go! For any Stephen King fans, I just read that a sequel to The Shining is coming out in January...I was like what?!! It's about Danny as an adult. Can't wait! www.latimes.com/features/books/jacketcopy/la-jc-stephen-king-sequel-to-the-shining-is-coming-20120803,0,53006.story

Hey all, Jepico here. That is actually a nickname my brother game me when I was a kid and now use as a character name for all the games I've played...just kinda stuck. I'm 33 years old from Louisiana with a whopping 4 kids...I think I may have the record....haha. I'm happily married to an amazing woman (i.e. she's a stay at home mom with 4 kids = amazing woman!).
I started gaming with an Atari and have never stopped. I was always a console gamer until my good friend introduced be to WoW about 5 years ago...it took 4 years until I finally played another game besides WoW. I had short bouts with Rift, SWtor, etc....but never really got that same joy out of gaming until I found out GW2 was coming out and started researching the game. I'm so excited about this game and can't wait until release!!

Hey everyone. My name is Seth and I'm 22 years old, and I am a GIS technician from Missouri. Basically I make maps on the computer for counties around here. I have been gaming since I was 3 or 4. The first console game I remember playing is Super Mario World, but I had a NES as well (Duck Hunt!). I'm engaged to an amazing girl who is just about to start her final semester of college as a Chemistry major with a 4.0 GPA. She's never played any video games and they don't interest her enough to try, but that's good because it makes me limit myself . My first MMO was a little-known game called Tibia. I then switched to WoW and played that for a long time. I played those with a couple of friends and my dad, who I finally got to buy this game and trying to get him to join this guild, even though he is currently enjoying Rift . I wish I had played Guild Wars but I didn't know anyone who played it so I never looked into it really. Basically, I'm a little obsessed with this game like I haven't been with another game for a very long time, and this guild is one of the main reasons. P.S. @katie, I also love Harry Potter (just watched OotP last night), and Snape is my favorite character. Yeah!

@ Jade and kaleahstarr, I am currently 1/4 the way through book 9 in the wheel of time series and loving them. I'm a slow reader but I enjoy them. I haven't felt this way about a book series since I read Terry Brooks' Shannara series. I haven't read the Game of Thrones but i've been keeping up with the HBO series (which i'm sure is a lot different from the books but still not too bad a show).

love the wheel of time the story slows down a bit in some of the later books - but really picks up fast once you hit 12 & 13 - now i'm chomping at the bit for the last one!

@ morgwath - Yay, another Wheel of Time fan!! I love the Shanara series too. I think that was actually my intro to the fantasy genre. Good stuff! @ Jade - at the end of " A Memory of Light", when Matt find the tower and "you know who" is back, I was like yessss!! <3 I knew that was going to happen in that book and of course we didn't get to read about it until the very end! I was waiting for that moment forever!! Definitely read the Game of Thrones when you have some time. I'm actually pretty surprised at how true to the books the HBO series is staying. I can say this for the first season anyway. After I finished book one and the season one of the show, I couldn't put the books down and read all of the books like there was no tomorrow. By the time HBO put out season two, my memory was a lil fuzzy. lol Terry Goodkind's "The Sword of Truth" series is another good read. And then there's Brandon Sanderson's "Mistborn" series... I read too much! XD lol

Hello everyone. I'm Daniel, and as I said on another thread I'm fairly certain I'm one of the youngest here. I'll be turning 18 this September. I currently live in a small town near Des Moines in the state of Iowa.
Being a High-schooler my schedule varies from being incredibly packed to light as air depending on what time it is. I generally participate in a lot of extracurricular activities involving speaking, which all happen in one particular season. I'll be graduating this year and will be moving on to College soon.
Gaming is my main pastime when I'm not studying or practicing speech, but I'm also an avid music nerd. I love music from a wide variety of eras and genres, and am always searching for new music to listen to. Some of my favorites include classic Psychedelic Rock group Pink Floyd (I love Loggahead's avatar because of this), Modern Electronic/Jazz artist Flying Lotus, and progressive rock legends Godspeed You! Black Emperor. There are many more groups I like, but for the sake of brevity I'll stop myself there.
Despite the age difference, I think we'll all get along excellently. I look forward to seeing all of you in-game!

Hello, I'm Bill. I'm one of the youngest people here at 18 and am going to attend college as a Microbiology major in the fall. I've always enjoyed gaming, and this will actually be my first MMO besides Runescape when I was younger.

Actually we got members younger than 18. I know we got one 14 year old. Logga's son is going to be playing some. I think he's about 8. So we got a diverse group of ages here.

Logga told me I'm not alone earlier, which makes me happy. I'm just glad to see even more youngun's like myself joining in on the community. The age diversity is part of why I chose this guild, however. Everyone seems very mature and friendly, something that I've found often comes with age.
