I was able to play around with this for a little bit and the ipad version is much better then the iphone. It has all the same information but its just that much easier to research what you need. The map is really the only good thing from the app. There is a news feed thats OK, you can view it from a reddit feed which is nice but the other updates are usually 1-3 days old. The wiki sucks - its basically just for definitions. For example I looked up crafting and then jeweller and it said "Jewellers make rings, amulets and accessorices used for all classes" that's it...literally. You can also view videos from IGN and youtube also. The map really is worth it alone (Its free anyways) you can search the map and look up POIs, Vistas, Waypoints etc. It also has filters to view what you want or everything at once. Its very usefull to be able to search for things. As mentioned before its free to download it yourself and make your own opinion, my review above is mine.

Actually, from what I understand, ANet dropped the idea of making an app and, instead, released the API for it for developers.
