I would think it would be easier to plan those "hardcore" activities within the guild as an optional thing, so the folks who want to be more hardcore can still interact with everyone else, rather than saying "ok, the social folks over here, the hardcore folks over there" and making people choose. Just my two cents, of course.

I'll post this in the Officer's HQ for discussion. I like the concept but am not sure what the proposal would be?
Those who are currently the most active can feel free to coordinate and host events without officers being present. Is the idea that we make more officer's who'd want to focus on organizing more events?
Anyhow, I see where you're going and I like the Smoke / Fire concept. Maybe those in favor could post here with some ideas and let us discuss it further?
Like I said, I'll put this in the Officer's HQ for discussion.

Can you give us a better idea of what you mean by "more active"? I think it would help to get a better feel for what the proposed change aims to accomplish.

I'm def down for more organized events. WvW. sPvP. Friday nights are great so far. I also wouldn't mind some kind of buddy system for leveling in PVE. I figure since you can have 5 guys going at once ( like me), U can set a certain time with one or two other guildies just to play that certain character ( same race, same story line) and not jump ahead. Plus you can level a lot quicker since xp is equal not half. Ill start it off. If someone is interested to run an alt for example from 10pm to 12mid east coast shoot me a PM.

I like the idea of the buddy system. "No more flying solo!" "You need someone watching your back, AT.ALL.TIMES!"

It will def make the game feel less tedious if u are doing that second character with someone else. Since the game is so new I'm assuming everyone has their focus on their main guy getting to 80, but I like the change of classes now and then even if it is only a few times a week. Plus a lot of the times two classes work well with each other (melee/range combo) Like I said yesterday if ure interested Let me know
