I came across this pretty thorough crafting guide the other night: gaiscioch.com/tavern/guildwars_crafting/post_35198.htmlIt was written pre-launch and the author recognizes that, but he goes into quite a bit of detail- and I'll admit I glossed over a lot of it because, well, I can't be bothered with the nitty gritty. However, he did mention this good idea: having an in-game "crafting buddy." Someone who has chosen different disciplines than you and can mail you materials that you can use and vice versa. For example, I took the completely unoriginal (or highly rational?) choice of jeweler/tailor for my Necro, and thus have limited use for wood and cooking ingredients, and since I gather everything in sight they sit unused in my bank (although, they may eventually be utilized by an alt... but not if I can share first). Alternatively, I believe there are guild banks where items/materials/whatever can be deposited for sharing. And of course, on the fly, people can put up requests and offers for materials on chat too. Apologies if something like this has already been discussed or set up; I haven't exactly been too active in chat.

hey there causticspill, if you are still interested in having a crafting buddy I am doing weaponsmith/tailor. I would happily send you jeweler materials if you send me weaponsmithing materials. My character name is Skadi Rutherfjord
