So yesterday when I got home from work and after eating dinner. I plop myself down for a night of mischief and mayhem in Tyria. Now mind you it is about 6:45pm EST. A small patch before I am able to log in. The log in icon turns RED. I hit it and ...."Waiting for Authentication" is scrolling! So OK, no problem go to my email and hit refresh and refresh and refresh and refresh....you get the picture. I didn't sign-up for it yet let alone even log in to do it so WTF? I just hope to Hades that it works when I get home and I get that dam authentication email! So I open a support case and this is what I get back at 5am however I didn't check my email before coming to work: Response GM Serendipity via Email 08/31/2012 05:03 AM Hey there!

This is a mass message being sent to you because you mentioned authenticating your account in the subject of your petition. We were having issues with the e-mail authentication system in which the authentication link was not working properly; however, these issues should now be resolved. If you are not receiving the authentication e-mail, please make sure to add "noreply@guildwars2.com" to your approved senders list, and to check your spam and junk mail folders to make sure it did not go there. Please be advised that you will be asked to authenticate your account whenever you log in to a new location. If you see an e-mail from an attempted authorization that was not made by you, simply do not click the link. As long as the person who is attempting to verify their location does not have access to your e-mail, they will not be able to authorize their location to access your account.

Wow Ash! I did successfully authenticate my son's account last night. Is your email link sitll saying expired or not valid?

I have to wait until I get home tonight sadly! I can not access my home email from work. Also I can not log into "my account" on GW2 either from work as it is still asking for authentication.
As you know your Support account is different than your Game account so I could log in from work and see their response shown above.
Was running late this morning so I didn't check before I left for work!
