So I woke up today excited about Guild Wars 2. At about noon, I needed to use the restroom. So I decided to use my master bedroom's restroom. I open up the door and find out that my restroom is flooded with about 4 inches of water. Turns out the toilet was leaking and I had to shut the water off just to get it to stop leaking. Very sad about this, I tried to calm myself down and told myself "It's only the bathroom, no big deal" Little did I know I was about to find out the water made it's way into my bedroom and flooded about 3 feet of carpet.. I didn't realize until I stepped on the carpet with my bare feet and it felt like I was walking through a swamp. Couldn't get worse, right? WRONG.. It also turns out it flooded into my closet that is somewhat near the bathroom.
Yeah.. So on a day that I was very excited for, turned into a very very horrible day.

Wow. This is freaky. My wife called me at work and said the ceiling in my kitchen has a wet spot next to one of the high hats, right below the 2nd fl bathroom. Can't wait to go home and see if I have cracked pipe in the ceiling. Gunna be a fun night

sux Piccolo, hope you dont find any more suprises and that the water damage is minimal. Yeah, I have checked pretty much everywhere and it was only the bathroom, my bedroom carpet, and the closet. I cleaned up everything the best I could, but now I'm going to have to call a professional rug cleaner to suck up all this water. My cheap shampooer isn't quite doing the job and I'm running out of dry towels. LOL

Ouch! Sorry to hear that piccolo. I had a similar situation at the beginning of the year when the seal to the toilet broke during the nigh and I woke up to find my shoes floating around my bed. One of the reasons I never again have carpet flooring.
Hang in there bud.

I'm really sorry to hear about this - being a Midwesterner, I'm no stranger to flooding, so I know exactly how you feel. you have my condolences, and I sincerely hope that you'll be able to get everything back together. At least you have GW2 to look forward to once your troubles are over : )
