Just a heads up
They will be launching a new driver sometime early next week which is specifically tailored for GW2. Huge boost across the board
Going to be 305.XX
Also congrats to Orion, Kipp and Dano on the officer titles.

Unfortunatly, Officer Orion, now known as simply "Double O", ( subtle english spy movie reference) Radeon, unlike Nvidia has horrible updates post launch, but ure card can more than handle the game. If not take your new guild key and raid the bank

I have a radeon 5770 which I found ran GW2 just fine but I hasn't updated the drivers in a while so I did and now it keeps crashing every hour or so. Think it might be over heating cuz I'm pretty sure I hear the fan kick in just before my screen goes black... If it ain't broke don't fix it... I think I broke it, now what? Lol

is there any way to tell what i had installed? moved topic yes there is shobiz - right click on your desktop and select nvidia control panel (or similar name) within that application there should be an info or software or help screen that will show the current driver level sorry i dont have an nvidia card installed right now otherwise i could find the actual names... found this on nvidia site too: Q: How can I find out what driver version I have? A: Right-click on your desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel. From the NVIDIA Control Panel menu, select Help > System Information. The driver version is listed at the top of the Details window. For more advanced users, you can also get the driver version number from the Windows Device Manager. Right-click on your graphics device under display adapters and then select Properties. Select the Driver tab and read the Driver version. The last 5 digits are the NVIDIA driver version number.

306.02 is up now, for anyone who is interested. Guild Wars 2 is mentioned, so hopefully there will be some improvements.

I read that message on the launcher and downloaded the newest drivers. What a mess. Lost all kinds of performance and stability. I reverted back to my older ones and everything's fine even though I get the log on message each time.
