Yea. Looks likes he grasping for anything by starting a link about gathering tools. Tomorrow's post will be a refresher course on the ins and outs of the left mouse button in gw2

lol these 10 countdown posts are all just to get people talking/thinking about some different parts of the game while still somewhat reflecting the number of days left i.e. this one for the 3 gathering tools is about the only "3" i could find for guild wars that was not completely daft etc...

Sorry to hear that you're having such a rough time IRL. Hopefully playing GW2 will help to distract you and provide happy experiences to help counterbalance the negative ones. I was in a similar situation last night: right in the middle of playing the GW2 beta, I got a work email for something that had to be done at night, something that would take at least an hour. I swear, there are times I wish that cell phones have never been invented; mine feels like an electronic leash!

I second that riffraff. I hate it you're going through some rough times. I feel overwhelmed on a regular basis as well. Just hang in there and throw your phone in the toilet Friday night...

Make sure you update your client. Right now I am downloading a massive file. I'm assuming it's the final game files as I've been downloading it for the past 10 minutes and I'm only at 2%. lol

Eh, this isn't really news. I think this game'll be okay, nothing better. Really, I don't understand why you are all planning on playing it.
I think I'm just going to start my WoW subscription back up so that I can play that new patch, it looks pretty cool. I'm looking forward to checking out the new talent treeOH MY GOD I AM SO EXCITED. That stress test made me ravenously hungry to fire up the game. I have all 5 of my first few characters planned out, and when they're all 80 I'm buying more character slots. I am ready to start forming groups to do dynamic events and take down giant thunder dragons with everyone, and I'm about to burst from the wait. Only 3 more days standing in between me and Guild Wars 2. I will have it. It will be MINE.

Lol Reminds me of the Christmas i got a NES (everyone wanted one and they were backorderd), so my parents ripped out a picture of one from the sears catalog and wrote the day it was coming in, early january, on it and wrapped it in a small box. My brothers and I went crazy, pooled our christmas money and went and bought legend of zelda before the nes even came in. Read the manual several times since all i could do was that or stare at the game (pretty gold cartridge though) for 2 weeks.

Read the manual several times since all i could do was that or stare at the game (pretty gold cartridge though) for 2 weeks. My dad is such an awesome guy. When I woke up Christmas I walked downstairs, and instead of being greeted by a tree filled with presents he had arranged the furniture around so there was a large couch sitting in front of our TV. The TV was in full view when I walked into the living room, and I still remember joyfully going, "NO WAYYYY!" When I saw Donkey Kong 64 on the title screen. You could say that I... went bananas. PUNS! Fast forward a few years and I remember opening up a rectangular package on one particular birthday and unraveling super mario sunshine. I freaked out and started opening the biggest present there at lightning speed, wanting to get to the gamecube that I hadn't known I possessed until then. Fast forward to present day and I'm sitting in my basement, a large "2" logo on my screen, watching the patch for my dream MMO download. I've come a long way, but GW2 represents the next stage of my gaming life. It's the MMORPG I've always wanted. Friday night is going to be like Christmas morning all over again. I can't wait to rip my present open!
