Anyone else play all the beta weekends for the first GW? Remember when you had to have a skill ring to unlock a new skill? Then they changed it to books before putting in the trainers. Remember when the guild cape was a tabard that looked like a giant bib? Was anyone there for the finale at the last beat weekend when fireworks were going off in LA, people where being turned to pigs and then giant presents opened with gnomes appearing saying "Niii" followed by gold raining down and then....the giant Wurms attacked and killed everyone? ah good times, and the game wasn't even out yet.

I was there for it all. My favorite beta closing event was when the Gwens appeared and killed everyone. That was funny to me. I was glad to see the rings go away. They were expensive given that you only made 1 to 3 gold per kill when they dropped money. Also there was two versions of the rings. One for a permanent skill gain and one for a temp gain. Also hated the bib. It looked a bit ridiculous. Also remember when there was various level arenas around Tyria you could enter for PvP.

I've been chilling out to the GW2 soundtrack lately. I love some of these tunes. These in particular are getting me really excited!
Exciting, Epic, awesome Norn theme.
Sentimental, melancholy, majestic track "Times of Hope and Sorrow"
And the best of them all, the desperate, depressing, almost hopeless piano track that plays during the "Epic struggle" trailer. I hope I get to hear this track in-game, it is fantastic.

Are kidding me? The craziest event BY FAR was when Gwen started popping up everywhere (even in cities and shit) and starting casting Firestorm EVERYWHERE!

The Gwens were awesome, then again so were the bone dragons. I almost forgot about the bone dragons. Those were a hoot too. People running around in a panic because they could not fight them. Was great laughs.
