Arenanet just posted a blogpost which details out how server transfers work and also gave us a list of US server names to choose from for the BWE: www.arena.net/blog/choosing-and-transferring-worlds-in-guild-wars-2Question is, what server should we pick!? Here is a list with my choices in RED: • Anvil Rock•Borlis Pass • Yak’s Bend•Henge of Denravi •Maguuma • Sorrow’s Furnace•Kaineng •Jade Quarry •Fort Aspenwood •Ehmry Bay •Ferguson’s Crossing •Darkhaven •Vasburg •Eredon Terrace •Crystal Desert •Tarnished Coast •Steamspur Mountains •Blazeridge Mountains •Isle of Janthir •Sea of Sorrows • Deldrimor•Scavenger’s Causeway •Moladune •Eternal Grove What do you guys think?

I like Sorrow's Furnace. It's easier for me to remember since I played on Shadowsong in WoW and Space Slug in TOR, having another server that starts with a S would be easier. However Yak's Bend is still a fun name.
In truth it doesn't really matter as long as we are on the same one.

I was drawn to Yak's Bend initially and it looks like my other guild may be heading that way too. The main thing I am waiting for is to see how busy the servers are. Experience has taught me to pick the busiest server possible. A few weeks of queues (remember the massive ones on Shadowsong Morg?) at the start hopefully means and long lasting and active server down the road. I would hate to be stuck on a dead server when subscriptions/players decline.

Did you guys hear what they are doing about server ques? It's brilliant. If there is a que, they will let you start playing in an "overflow" server while you wait!
The blog post above also details that they allow "guesting" to friends servers with the only limitation being you can't enter pvp... awesome!

DRITTT!!!! long time no see. Yeah I remember the queues. they came back a little when cataclysm came out, thankfully not for too long. I finally beat the wowcrack addiction though. Haven't really played since september. But i just replaced it with SW:TOR.
Yak's bend sounds good. The name is sure to draw in players so it should hopefully be fairly full.
