;D Excited hmmmm, my excitment comes from linking up with friends to play together and I mean the new friends too. Discovering new lands, tough monsters, hot women OOOPS a bit over excited. I do have one question, in your charactor development at the start, there are a bunch of gods and you have to choose one to align with, anyone clear some of this up for me? '

I do have one question, in your charactor development at the start, there are a bunch of gods and you have to choose one to align with, anyone clear some of this up for me? ' I believe it fits into designing your character and their personality, similar to the questions like one thing you regret from your past. Here's a wiki page summarizing the gods that you can choose and such. wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Six_Human_GodsI haven't played far enough into the beta to know what long-term effects your selection might have, but it seems like the gods all match up with a particular class in some way. For example, on my human mesmer in beta I found that Lyssa, twin goddesses of beauty, water and illusion matched well with the mesmer's illusion-filled class structure. Anyone else want to shed some light on what these choices mean for your character in the long run? Also, you seem to be another person who shares the love of the social aspect of MMOs like myself. Which is good, I like to have a lot of guild mates who enjoy grouping up and adventuring together.

Crow is a good guy ...except maybe when it comes to people who use auto follow all the time or roll need on items they can't use... Then he becomes a whole different crow! *cackles maniacally*

The art style, the ability to truly go anywhere, and do anything. You can play anyway you wish. You get x.p from 98% of anything you do. The dynamic nature and public questing makes cooperative play a must, and easy. As of course I want to do as much of the game WITH guildies as humanly possible for me . However it is nice to see a game make playing with people you will never know, fun, beneficial, and rewarding for all. Do anything, help in anyway and your rewarded. The friendly casual guilds of which as a human, and gamer I now NEED in my life thrive in these settings. The game is not gear based, so there is not the rush to content that can make casual guilds feel like the "b Team." If any of my guild mates have not seen the arena net manifesto of why did we make this game go to you tube and watch it. As Dano and I have already spoken about for hours it is all the little things for a game for gamer's of all kinds made by gamer's of all types. It is the sidekick system, it is the over flow server, it is pvp at any level, it is wvwvw, it is a robust, alive pve, it is a starting city which you could LITERALLY spend 100 hours to see every nook, cranny, and hidden treasure, it is the art porn known as vista's. It is every jumping puzzle which I will only get 20% of as I suck at jumping , it is every point of interest. An lastly and in all truth it is in playing, talking, and getting to know my guildies over the next few weeks, months and years. As a MMO is just that and in that regard I got very lucky to be in such a place for Nancy and I with all of you. This will be a fun, epic, memory driven ride. Can't wait.

We have very similar interests! I too am going to be trying to do everything with guildmates and friends, as you can see by me trying to organize L4D2 groups a week before the game we're all united on these forums for releases. I hope to see you in my dungeon runs and WvWvW groups very frequently!

Honestly i am excited about GW2 even tho i never really played GW1. But i have to say more excited about being in a guild that is not power hungry/destroy all other guilds/skip everything and get to top level. I have played many MMo's but the community was never there and face it once you are on a server and have a high lvl character you really are not going to change servers. I will always stand by this statement. " Without a good community and a good guild, the game is nothing." But yeah the combat looks great and the graphics are awesome which is a big key for me to like a game.

You might say that on both accounts Orion . Below is one of my favorite you tube people, total biscut. He says what really is my overwhelming reason. To be lost, to be carried away, to make memories on my own, in the battles with my guild, and random strangers I will never know, and watching 6 hours go past in the blink of an eye. It is a lengthy show for 37 minutes, but well worth it as I agree with about 90% of his points. www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtG0kkDviTU&feature=plcp

I am a GW 1 veteran from year one but never played with a Guild I have 13 GW 1 characters biggest thing for me is the no monthly fee. There would be times with GW 1 that I would be on constantly but sometimes not on for weeks it was so easy to pick up where I left off it made the game enjoyable with out feeling that I needed to play because I was paying a monthly fee (cough cough like other MMOs) Definitely excited about a GW type MMO that is a persistent world with tons of players running around sounds like a blast!!!!
