Excited? Does spending all day on these forums, checking for client updates every 30 mins, re-watching the same gw2 YouTube videos over and over, planning my Ranger pet collection route on day 1, making copious notes on my character creation build, printing crafting guides at work, and other stuff I'm too embarrassed to mention  make me excited?? ...ya, I suppose it does |

Whoa... hold the phone... there is a ranger pet guide already!? Can you link such madness? I will be playing a ranger but haven't looked into tameable pets at all.
However, I do know that I will be running with a Black Widow spider as soon as possible that will be waiting for me in my HoM...

For the pet guide locations etc I used this from gw2guru www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/41035-pet-guide-known-pet-locations/I tried it on yesterday's stress test. First zone for a good mix of land pets is the norn starting area. Will be my first choice. As for level 80 - smoke and fire members have been chosen by arenanet for "fast track to 80" option. It's pretty awesome, although I do miss the level grind... |

...or we can just choose level 80 for our sigs and decided bigger is better I'll likely change mine at key levels as I go. I'm not a speed leveler as I don't get the time anymore |

Dropping/swapping etc is simple drag and drop from pet management (k) screen. You have 2 land pets and 2 underwater ones that you can hot swap while in combat. Doing so will heal the swapped out pet too!
